The Devil Went Down to Georgia (And So Must We)

The boy said, “My name’s Johnny, and it might be a sin,
But I’ll take your bet; and you’re gonna regret ‘cause I’m the best there’s ever been.”
— The Charlie Daniels Band

Jon Ossoff is making bets and taking names in Georgia. This young Democrat got the most votes in the special election in Georgia on April 18 - narrowly missing an outright win with 48.1% of the vote in the ultra conservative 6th district. He will move on to the June runoff.

But the GOP isn't going down without a fight. Instead, they are going down to Georgia with their loads of superpac gold and going all in against Jon. They know that there are 59 Republican-held seats in districts that are less conservative than Ossoff’s district. Democrats only need 24 of those to win the House back. Jon would make that 23 - and would be a devastating defeat.

We’ve got to double down to ensure the odds stay stacked in Jonny’s favor.

Here’s how:

1. Listen to the song (below), “The Devil Goes Down to Georgia” from the Charlie Daniels Band, to get you psyched to act.
2. Donate to Jon Ossoff.
3. Volunteer! Phone bank for Jon Ossoff.
