Pledge Our Allegiance to Each Other

  • Week of July 2, 2017

As you get ready to fire up your grills this Tuesday, take a minute to reflect on your commitment to our flag and our country. On Inauguration Day, many of us took an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution that we have lived on a weekly basis. Independence Day presents another opportunity to renew our commitment to the country that we love. The Presidential election, rise in hate crimes, and lack of communication across social and political lines have divided this country. But together with our neighbors, all-of-us must take back our flag and pledge our allegiance to each other, and to the values of tolerance, understanding, justice and freedom for all. We are partnering this week with the People's Supper to offer you a pledge you can say out loud, as well as to live, by attending or host a supper near you.

Here's how:

Say and sign the Pledge of Allegiance to Each Other, a campaign for the 4th of July and beyond. (2-minutes)

Join or host a supper near you. (1.5 -3 hours)
