GREAT WORK! Companies are responding to the growing public outcry by all-of-us and ending their NRA loyalty programs. DICK’s Sporting Goods was one of the first to speak up, and Walmart, Kroger, REI, and LL. Bean followed DICK’s leadership within days (hours in some cases):
Delta and United Airlines also landed on the right side of this debate and stopped their loyalty programs for NRA members.
Not surprisingly, these corporate leaders are getting slammed on social media by NRA members and sympathizers. Other (less courageous) companies are waiting on the sidelines and watching to see how the public reacts. Don’t discount the power that we have as consumers! All-of-us must use social media to publicly thank the companies who have cut ties with the NRA so that other companies can end their discount programs too.
