Support the Muslim Blue Wave!

  • Week of June 3, 2018

Trump’s attacks have inspired so many minority groups to seek political power and, thankfully, Muslims are no exception.

Over 90 American Muslims -- mostly Democrats, mostly young, and mostly new to politics are running  this year. The flurry of candidacies makes for a lot of potential firsts. Any one of four Muslim women — Nadia Hashimi, 40, in Maryland; Sameena Mustafa, 47, in Illinois; or Fayrouz Saad, 34, and Rashida Tlaib, 41, in Michigan — could be the first Muslim woman in Congress. Tlaib called President Trump's election a "bat signal" for many women who decided to run for office. "Not just Muslim women, but women from all backgrounds, it was a call to say we have to act," she said.

Ready to support our ladies (and men, too) riding high on this awesome Muslim Blue Wave?

Here’s how:

1 Donate to Rashida Tlaib, Fayrouz Saad, and/or Nadia Hashimi.

2 Learn about the Muslim candidates running for office in your local districts and support them.
