After sending mixed messages, in a knee-JERK move the NFL issued a rule that prevents its players from taking a knee in protest during the national anthem. All-of-us must stand together with NFL team players, and politicians including Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota) in protest of the NFL’s unjust policy. We’ve seen it before--corporate activism is one of the sharpest tools we have. That’s why all-of-us must insist that major sponsors of the NFL including Nike, Anheuser-Busch, Bose, Ford, Hyundai, and Under Armour support our players’ freedom of expression.
