Show Up for Racial Justice
We know it's been a minute since you've heard from us. (2020. Need we say more?) But we are writing now because today is not a time to stand on the sidelines.
All-of-us must acknowledge America’s racist heritage, educate ourselves, and show up now (and keep showing up) for racial justice.
Here’s how:
1 Show up! Check out Showing Up For Racial Justice for what you can do today.
2 Read up! Start with Ibram X. Kendi’s anti-racist reading list, Robin D’Angelo’s White Fragility, Michelle Alexander’s The New Jim Crow, or So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo.
3 Reflect. Observe a National Day of Mourning on Thursday, June 4, as George Floyd’s family prepares for the painful task of laying their loved one to rest.
Wall-of-Us is getting back up in action. Thank you for sticking with us. The stakes are higher than ever -- we must defeat Trump in 2020. So, stay tuned.
