Ask 5 People to Make and Share Their Voting Plan

“If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else.”
Yogi Berra

“It takes as much time to wish as it does to plan.”
Eleanor Roosevelt

There are three ways to vote: 1) in person early, 2) by mail, and 3) in person on November 3rd.

Early in person voting has already begun in several key states. Check out the NYT election calendar to keep track of the details.

Studies have shown that thinking through your voting plan increases the likelihood of voting by as much as 10%!

We know that if you’re a Wall-of-Us reader, you’ve already got your voting plan down pat. But we also know that you know at least five people who are either uninformed and/or a little too chill about this election.

Here's what you can do:

1 Make a list of your “high five” blue voters, preferably in swing states.

2 Then, inspire and/or guilt (yup!) them to share their voting plans by sharing your voting plan on social media, and you can use these graphics we made for you (I mean, everyone likes pretty pictures, right?). You can also re-share from our FB at

3 Not into social? No problem -- this strategy works just as well over email, text, or a good old fashioned telephone call.

*Tip - Plan to use the scary things that will come out of Trump’s mouth during the must-watch first debate on September 29th as a discussion hook for outreach to your high-five.
